Germany is the country with the largest photovoltaic installation scale in the world, and has rich experience in
promoting policies, management, technology, and other aspects of photovoltaic
development.
Berlin, Germany, is the first to issue a
bill mandating the installation of solar roofs, hoping to better utilize the
solar potential of the capital and achieve the goal of meeting 25% of
electricity demand by 2050 at the latest.
Recently, the German Federal Grid Authority
(Bundesnetzagentur) allocated 1.952GW of photovoltaic installed capacity in the
photovoltaic bidding, slightly exceeding the originally planned allocation of
1950MW by Bundesnetzagentur.
Klaus Mller, Chairman of Bundesnetzagentur,
said, "For the first time since June 2022, the number of bids received has
significantly exceeded the planned capacity
It is reported that the highest electricity
price for this auction is € 0.0737 ($0.081)/kWh, and the final average
electricity price is € 0.0703/kWh, ranging from € 0.0529/kWh to € 0.0730/kWh.
Southern Bavaria obtained the largest share
of allocated capacity with 845MW, by Brandenburg with 223MW and
Rhineland Falz with 163MW.
Bundesnetzagentur also revealed that
approximately 851MW has been allocated to farmland and grassland projects in
underdeveloped areas, and an additional 755MW has been awarded for solar mounting projects along highways and railways.
