As of October 2020, Germany has installed over 3.92 G solar capacity, so that it will easily surpass the 4 GW goal previously set, actually it is very possible to get close to 5 GW installation capacity.

In October of 2020,  monthly solar deployments of Germany is accelerated again to overtake the 400 MWs goal, actually the installed capacity is  421 MW, exceeding 3.924 GW to date, as per the Federal Network Agency or Bundesnetzagentur.
