On December 13-14, 2023, we were delighted to meet with many clients at the Montpellier FORUM ENERGAIA 2023 in France and discuss installation requirements for different types of solar bracket projects. The waterproof system carport was hotest product that many customers inquired about during this exhibition. We also showcased the support scheme for the carport on site, and the lightweight waterproof groove and waterproof rail design made the system more tightly installed. We also provide a variety of installation accessories and adjustable installation solutions for roof systems, enabling complex roofs to achieve reliable and stable installation effects through simple and fast installation solutions.
For ground photovoltaic systems, many customers have expressed that aluminum and metal brackets are currently in demand. Kinsend factory not only has a 30-year aluminum product processing factory, but also has its own carbon steel bracket processing factory. Each project, from raw materials, extrusion processing, to packaging, is completed under strict inspection by the group factory to ensure the quality of the project and timely supply . Kinsend factory Passed EU CE certification factory inspection, and some customers at the exhibition have made an appointment to visit our factory. We also look forward to more customers coming.
During the exhibition, customers also exchanged the latest developments in French photovoltaics industry . France is taking multiple measures to promote the development of renewable energy. According to data from the French Agency for Environment and Energy Management, in 2022, renewable energy accounted for 20.7% of the total energy consumption in France, an increase of 11.5 percentage points from 2005. The French government has proposed to increase solar energy (5.310%, -0.05%, -0.93%) generation to over 100 gigawatts by 2050.
In February 2023, a bill aimed at accelerating the development of renewable energy was passed in the French Senate. This bill emphasizes the development of photovoltaic power generation and puts forward higher requirements for photovoltaic infrastructure. The bill calls for accelerating the deployment of photovoltaic equipment on potential "wastelands" such as roads, railways, rivers, and coastal areas. For outdoor parking lots exceeding 1500 square meters, photovoltaic equipment must be installed within more than half of their area. In non residential buildings such as warehouses, hospitals, schools, etc. that are newly built or undergoing major renovations, the minimum coverage rate of rooftop photovoltaics will gradually increase from 30% in 2023 to 50% in 2027.
Let's schedule a French exhibition next year in 2024, and your support will drive Kinsend's continuous progress in photovoltaic field.
