The number of registered people at the 2023 SNEC PV POWER EXPO in Shanghai, China exceeded "500000", and this year's SNEC Photovoltaic Exhibition has become the largest in history. According to official data from SNEC Photovoltaic Exhibition, this year's exhibition has a total of 33 pavilions, with government officials, exhibitors, researchers, investment institution personnel from 96 countries and regions registered to participate. Over 2800 companies have registered to participate, with overseas exhibitors accounting for up to 30%.

According to data, the total export value of China's photovoltaic products (silicon wafers, battery cells, and modules) in 2022 was approximately 51.25 billion US dollars, an increase of 80.3% year-on-year.

In recent years, the European market has become a gathering place for major Chinese photovoltaic companies Rio Tinto. Many European countries actively participate in this exhibition and seek more Chinese cooperative suppliers and high-quality products in the future.

Middle Eastern countries mainly have a tropical desert climate, especially Saudi Arabia, which has an ultra long sunshine duration of over 2000 hours, nearly double the illumination time in inland areas of the country, and has excellent natural conditions for photovoltaic power generation. Photovoltaic products rely more on imports, and China's photovoltaic industry is their main importing country.
