There are 927 renewable energy projects in the Philippines, including 407 hydropower projects, 307 solar energy projects, 87 biomass energy projects, 86 wind energy projects, 32 geothermal energy solar projects and 8 tidal energy projects. 

According to the plan of the Philippine Department of Energy, by 2030 and 2040, the proportion of renewable energy in the total solar installed capacity of the Philippines will reach 37.3% and 55.8% respectively.
